Good supplier-company relationships are based on three essential pillars: knowledge, trust and the fight against product adulteration.
 We've built trusted relationships with our producers to help us better understand the difficulties they face. To support them financially, we pre-finance crops and honour contracts and prices despite market fluctuations.
We regularly visit our suppliers to share our experience and expertise and help improve cultivation and production methods, with the aim of reconciling yields, environmental responsibility and product quality.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

An eco-friendly distillery: Innovating for responsible production<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Thanks to the integration of sustainable technologies, such as an electric boiler powered in part by solar panels and an adiabatic cooler that minimises water consumption, our distillery represents a major step towards greener production and enables us to distil plants produced in faraway countries, for hydrolats with a reduced carbon footprint.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

A maceration room for local production<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Our macerates are produced locally in our maceration facility, which is specially equipped to make all types of macerates. We've designed this space to optimise our production and create high-quality products, with all our macerates undergoing double filtration followed by analyses. This maceration room is fully cleanable after each production to avoid any cross-contamination. <\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

A strict raw material control plan<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t

We've integrated an analysis laboratory that follows a strict control plan for raw materials (GC-FID, GC-MS, HPLC, etc.). Drawing on our 30+ years of experience, this development reflects our independence, competence, responsiveness and depth of analysis. It enables us to ensure the premium quality of our products and detect possible adulteration or cross-contamination. This new space is also serves as our new R&D incubator, dedicated to developing our customers' new projects. <\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

A new cleanroom<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Equipped with a high-performance air filtration system connected to a ventilated extraction network, the containment created inside protects our hydrolats from germs, moulds and yeasts during the filtration stage. Our ISO 7-compliant cleanroom guarantees sterile filtration at 0.2 \u03bcm at its exit. Microbiological analyses are systematically carried out on each filtered batch before it is put on sale. <\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

A reinvented storage space<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

In order to preserve the quality of our products, we have reorganised our storage area with horizontal drums and a systematic inert gas protection system. The headspace in our containers is filled with food-grade argon or nitrogen to ensure product stability. Oxidation of essential oils, particularly during storage, can lead to the development of peroxides. At Terra Provence, we've been focusing and monitoring this key area for about ten years. To comply with cosmetic regulatory requirements, as well as those of our clients, we regularly test the essential oils in stock for oxidation. This new system makes it possible for us to achieve the desired levels of stability and quality for our stored essential oils. <\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

We share all the analyses we're performed and interpreted, as well as the regulatory documentation for all the products purchased. Our production and sales teams respond as quickly and as effectively as possible to each clients' expectations and issues. The advantage of us being a very small business is our responsiveness and flexibility. We can prepare orders on the same day if necessary! <\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n
