All our 100% pure and natural hydrolats are certified organic by Ecocert FR– BIO–01 (according to EU Regulation 2018/848). Our hydrolats containing preservatives are certified by Ecocert Greenlife under the COSMOS standard.

Our hydrolats, which are mainly sourced from our partner producers in France, are made either by distilling fresh plants at the time of harvest or by distilling previously dried plants from France or Madagascar (like ylang ylang). It doesn’t make ecological sense for us to import hydrolats from faraway countries. To reduce our impact, we’ve invested in a distillery for plants not grown in France and other fragile hydrolats that must be filtered immediately to reduce contamination.
We offer raw, filtered, and preserved hydrolats. Sterile filtration at 0.2μm is carried out in our ISO 8 cleanroom. A microbiological analysis testing for yeasts/moulds and total germs is carried out on each filtered hydrolat so it can be sold. We keep these hydrolats for use in cosmetics on request.
