We produce all our oil macerates in our facilities in Montguers. They are certified organic by Ecocert FR-BIO-01, according to EU Regulation 2018/848.
Download the macerates catalogueOur oil macerates are obtained by macerating dried flowers (like arnica or calendula) or fresh plants (like carrots or St. John's wort) in vegetable oils. We've chosen to offer only oil macerates in which the specific molecules are derived solely from the maceration process or from the plant's juice. Our recipes are developed and then analysed in our maceration facility. Each macerate has its own formula, but we're open to developing new formulas for customers' specific needs.
Our largest oil macerate production is of organic St. John's wort, also known as “red oil”. With 25 years' experience producing this maceration, we use the traditional method of macerating the plant in vegetable oil exposed to the sun in glass demijohns.
Our most labour-intensive and time-consuming macerate, production begins with the St. John's wort harvest in June and ends in September, in time for October distribution. It is produced once a year, using plants sourced mainly from fields near our workshop.
